  • 6mb hard disk space per 1000 electors.
  • If using this server to store Aform Property images, 1MB of disk space per property.
  • If using this server to store Absent Voter Images, 1MB of disk space per absent voter
  • 500MB total disk space to accommodate the Sems system.
  • 1Gb disk Space for Local Land charges System (if applicable)

  Networking Environment for Elreg, Sems & StrandView

  • Cabling must be of minimum CAT5 standard.
  • The network speed must not fall below 100MB at any routed point between the client and the server.
  • Network switches should be implemented as a preference over hubs or routers.
  • Transaction based anti-virus should be disabled for the appropriate designated folders on the server and the clients.
